At Rurban Skills Private Limited, we believe in empowering India's youth with the skills necessary for sustainable livelihoods and economic independence. We are committed to executing high-impact, placement-linked training programs that bridge the gap between potential and opportunity.

We were empaneled as appointed as the Project Implementing Agency (PIA) to a wage-based, placement-linked skill development program for the "Sewing Machine Operator" trade, transforming the lives of rural youth in Jharkhand. We leveraged our on-ground capabilities and comprehensive resources to manage the project from inception to successful completion.

The project's target was the training of 105 candidates, a goal we successfully achieved through our dedicated efforts in mobilization and high-quality training delivery.

Our Comprehensive Role and Execution:

As the PIA, Rurban Skills managed all operational facets of the program, ensuring adherence to the highest industry and Sector Skill Council (SSC) standards. Our key responsibilities included:

  • Candidate Mobilization and Selection: We successfully mobilized and selected 105 eligible rural youth for the "Sewing Machine Operator" trade in Jharkhand. This involved meticulous background checks and document verification for all selected candidates.

  • Trainer and Curriculum Management: We deployed and managed a team of qualified, certified trainers with deep industry experience. The training was delivered based on the approved curriculum and qualification pack (QP Code: AMH/Q0301) for the Apparel sector.

  • Placement: The programme had the mandate of providing placement to a minimum of 70% of the candidates. We were successful in achieving 85% placement rate for our candidates.
